Naknek
Naknek is a census-designated place (CDP) located in Bristol Bay Borough, Alaska, United States. As of the 2010 Census, the population of Naknek was 544. The community is known for its involvement in the commercial fishing industry, specifically for salmon.

Naknek is located on the north bank of the Naknek River, close to where the river runs into the Kvichak Bay arm of the northeastern Bristol Bay. A variety of flora and fauna can be found in Naknek and its surrounding areas, which are part of the Bristol Bay Watershed, an area known for its pristine environmental conditions.

The history of Naknek dates back thousands of years, with the area being inhabited by the Alutiiq people. The name "Naknek" itself is derived from the Alutiiq word "Naknek", which means "first river" in English. The area was later explored by Russian fur traders in the 19th century.
