Nathan Outlaw is a renowned British chef who has made significant contributions to the culinary world. He is best known for his seafood dishes and his dedication to using locally sourced ingredients.
Early Life and Education[edit | edit source]
Nathan Outlaw was born in Maidstone, Kent, in 1978. He developed a passion for cooking at a young age, which led him to pursue a career in the culinary arts. He studied at Thanet College, where he honed his skills and developed his unique style of cooking.
Career[edit | edit source]
Outlaw began his career working under renowned chef Rick Stein at The Seafood Restaurant in Padstow. He later moved to London, where he worked at several prestigious restaurants, including The Capital Hotel and The Vineyard at Stockcross.
In 2003, Outlaw returned to Cornwall to open his first restaurant, The Black Pig. The restaurant quickly gained a reputation for its innovative seafood dishes, earning Outlaw his first Michelin star in 2004.
In 2007, Outlaw opened his second restaurant, Restaurant Nathan Outlaw, in Rock, Cornwall. The restaurant was awarded two Michelin stars in 2010, making Outlaw the youngest British chef to receive this honor.
In addition to his restaurants, Outlaw has also authored several cookbooks, including Nathan Outlaw's British Seafood and Nathan Outlaw's Home Kitchen.

Outlaw is married and has two children. He resides in Cornwall, where he continues to run his restaurants and contribute to the local culinary scene.

Throughout his career, Outlaw has received numerous awards and accolades for his contributions to the culinary world. In addition to his Michelin stars, he has also been awarded the Good Food Guide's Chef of the Year and the AA Restaurant Guide's Seafood Restaurant of the Year.
