National

From WikiMD's Wellness Encyclopedia

National is a term that refers to anything that pertains to a nation or country. It can be used to describe a country's citizens, institutions, or anything else that is characteristic of that nation. The term is often used in contrast to "international", which refers to anything that involves more than one nation.

National Identity[edit | edit source]

A National identity is a person's sense of belonging to one state or to one nation. It is the sense of a nation as a cohesive whole, as represented by distinctive traditions, culture, and language. National identity may refer to the subjective feeling one shares with a group of people about a nation, regardless of one's legal citizenship status.

National Symbols[edit | edit source]

National symbols are symbols that are used by nations to represent their country. They are often used to instill pride and unity among the nation's citizens. These symbols can include a nation's flag, coat of arms, national anthem, or national bird or animal.

National Government[edit | edit source]

A National government is the government that controls a nation. It is responsible for the administration of the country, including making laws, enforcing laws, and managing the country's resources. The national government is usually divided into different branches, such as the executive, legislative, and judicial branches, to ensure a separation of powers.

National Economy[edit | edit source]

The National economy refers to the economy of a nation or country. It includes all the economic activities that take place within the country's borders, including production, consumption, and trade. The national economy is often measured by the country's gross domestic product (GDP), which is the total value of all goods and services produced within the country in a given period.
