Nicky Jam
Nicky Jam (born March 17, 1981) is an American singer, songwriter, and actor. He is best known for his work in the reggaeton and Latin trap genres. Nicky Jam has been a prominent figure in the Latin music scene since the late 1990s and has collaborated with numerous artists, contributing to the global popularity of reggaeton.

Nicky Jam was born as Nick Rivera Caminero in Lawrence, Massachusetts, to a Dominican mother and a Puerto Rican father. He moved to Puerto Rico at a young age, where he was exposed to the burgeoning reggaeton scene. His stage name, Nicky Jam, was given to him by a homeless man who used to watch him perform.

Nicky Jam began his music career at the age of 14, releasing his debut album ... in 1994. Despite the album's limited success, it helped him gain recognition in the Puerto Rican music industry. He later formed a duo with Daddy Yankee, and together they released several successful tracks, including "En la Cama" and "Guayando."

After parting ways with Daddy Yankee, Nicky Jam faced several personal and professional challenges, including struggles with addiction. However, he made a significant comeback in the early 2010s with hits like "Voy a Beber" and "Travesuras." His 2015 single "El Perdón," featuring Enrique Iglesias, became a massive hit, topping charts worldwide and earning numerous awards.

Nicky Jam has continued to release successful music, including the albums Fénix (2017) and Íntimo (2019). He has also ventured into acting, appearing in films such as xXx: Return of Xander Cage and the biographical series Nicky Jam: El Ganador, which chronicles his life and career.
