Nigel Crisp, Baron Crisp
Nigel Crisp, Baron Crisp (born 14 January 1952) is a British life peer and former Chief Executive of the National Health Service (NHS) in England. He is known for his contributions to the healthcare sector and his work on global health issues.

Nigel Crisp was born on 14 January 1952. He was educated at St John's College, Cambridge, where he studied philosophy and theology. He later pursued a career in healthcare management.

National Health Service[edit | edit source]
Nigel Crisp joined the National Health Service (NHS) in 1986. He held various senior management positions before becoming the Chief Executive of the NHS in 2000. During his tenure, he was responsible for implementing significant reforms aimed at improving the efficiency and quality of healthcare services in England.

After retiring from the NHS in 2006, Nigel Crisp focused on global health issues.
