- Nikiski is a census-designated place (CDP) located in the Kenai Peninsula Borough in the U.S. state of Alaska. According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 76.2 square miles, of which, 69.6 square miles of it is land and 6.6 square miles of it is water. As of the 2010 census, the population was 4,493.
Geography[edit | edit source]
- Nikiski is located at 60°42′28″N 151°15′46″W (60.707891, -151.262646). The community is located along the western shore of Cook Inlet, approximately 20 miles north of Kenai, and 80 miles southwest of Anchorage.

- Nikiski is home to several healthcare facilities that provide a range of services to the community.
- Central Peninsula Hospital is a 49-bed general medical and surgical hospital located in nearby Soldotna. It offers emergency care, orthopedic surgery, diagnostic imaging, women's health services, and more.
