Niko Koffeman
Niko Koffeman (born 12 May 1958) is a Dutch politician and animal rights activist. He is a member of the Party for the Animals (Partij voor de Dieren, PvdD) and has been serving as a Senator in the Senate of the Netherlands since 2007. Koffeman is known for his advocacy for animal rights, environmental sustainability, and vegetarianism.

Niko Koffeman was born in Maassluis, a city in the province of South Holland. He studied at the Erasmus University Rotterdam, where he earned a degree in Economics.
Political Career[edit | edit source]
Koffeman co-founded the Party for the Animals in 2002, a political party that focuses on animal rights and environmental issues. The party is unique in its emphasis on the welfare of animals and the environment, rather than traditional human-centric political issues.
