Norma, Lazio

Norma, Lazio is a municipality located in the Lazio region of Italy. It is part of the Province of Latina, and is situated approximately 80 kilometers south-east of Rome.

The history of Norma, Lazio dates back to the ancient times. It was originally an ancient Volsci town known as Norba. The town was destroyed in 82 BC during the Roman Civil War. The modern town was built in the Middle Ages, and it retains much of its medieval character today.

Geography[edit | edit source]

Norma, Lazio is located in the Monti Lepini, a mountain range in the Lazio region. The town is perched on a high cliff, overlooking the vast plains of the Pontine Marshes. The town's location offers stunning views of the surrounding countryside and the Tyrrhenian Sea.

The economy of Norma, Lazio is primarily based on agriculture. The town is known for its production of olive oil, wine, and honey. In recent years, tourism has also become an important part of the local economy.
