Novasep was founded in 1994 with the aim of developing and commercializing purification technologies for the life sciences industry. The company has grown through a series of acquisitions and organic growth, and today has a global presence with facilities in Europe, North America and Asia.

Novasep provides a range of services to its clients, including:
- Process Development Services: Novasep's process development services include process design, optimization and scale-up, as well as analytical development and quality control.
- Purification Equipment and Turnkey Processes: Novasep offers a range of purification equipment, including chromatography systems, membrane filtration systems and evaporation systems. The company also provides turnkey processes for the production of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and high potency APIs.
- Contract Manufacturing Services: Novasep provides contract manufacturing services for the production of APIs and drug products. These services include process development, scale-up and manufacturing, as well as analytical services and regulatory support.
