The company was founded in 1923 and is one of the world's leading providers of diabetes care products, including insulin and other diabetes-related drugs. Novo Nordisk also produces other pharmaceutical products such as growth hormone therapy and treatment for haemophilia, as well as biopharmaceuticals for the treatment of various serious chronic diseases.
