Ollenhauerstraße station is a railway station located in the Reinickendorf district of Berlin, Germany. It is served by the Berlin S-Bahn and numerous local bus lines. The station is named after Erich Ollenhauer, a prominent German politician and leader of the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD) from 1952 until his death in 1963.

The Ollenhauerstraße station was opened on 31 May 1992 as part of the extension of the S-Bahn line S25 from Tegel station to Hennigsdorf. The station is located on the Kremmener Bahn, a railway line in the northern suburbs of Berlin, which was originally opened in 1893.

Facilities[edit | edit source]

The station has two side platforms and two tracks. It is fully accessible for people with disabilities, featuring lifts and tactile paving for the visually impaired. The station building houses a ticket office and vending machines.

Connections[edit | edit source]

Ollenhauerstraße station is served by the S-Bahn line S25, which runs between Teltow Stadt in the south and Hennigsdorf in the north. The station is also served by several bus lines, providing connections to other parts of Reinickendorf and neighbouring districts.
