- Olmsted County is a county located in the U.S. state of Minnesota. As of the 2020 census, the population was 158,293. Its county seat and largest city is Rochester. The county was founded in 1855 and named after David Olmsted, a member of the first territorial council and the first mayor of St. Paul.

Olmsted Medical Center[edit | edit source]
- Olmsted Medical Center (OMC), a not-for-profit organization, has been southeastern Minnesota’s hometown healthcare provider since 1949. OMC’s 165 clinicians join 1,200 other health care professionals serving at 20 locations, including two multi-specialty clinics, a Level IV trauma hospital with 24-hour emergency room, two FastCare retail clinics in Rochester Shopko stores, and 11 community branch clinics.
Saint Marys Hospital[edit | edit source]
- Saint Marys Hospital is part of Mayo Clinic Hospital — Rochester, one of Mayo Clinic’s two major campuses in Rochester. The hospital was founded by the Sisters of Saint Francis in cooperation with Dr. W. W. Mayo and his sons, Dr. William J. Mayo and Dr. Charles H. Mayo. Today, it is one of the largest private hospitals in the world with 1,265 beds.
