Omega-Grammotoxin SIA
Omega-Grammotoxin SIA is a neurotoxic peptide isolated from the venom of the Chilean tarantula Grammostola spatulata. This toxin specifically targets and blocks voltage-gated calcium channels (VGCCs), which are critical for the release of neurotransmitters at synapses.
