Pär Zetterberg
Pär Zetterberg (born 14 October 1970) is a retired Swedish footballer who played as a midfielder. He is widely regarded as one of the most talented Swedish footballers of his generation.

Pär Zetterberg was born in Falun, Sweden. He began his football career at a young age, joining the local club IK Brage.
Club Career[edit | edit source]
RSC Anderlecht[edit | edit source]
Zetterberg's professional career took off when he joined RSC Anderlecht in Belgium in 1986. He spent the majority of his career at the club, becoming a key player and a fan favorite. During his time at Anderlecht, he won several Belgian league titles and domestic cups.
Olympiacos[edit | edit source]
In 2000, Zetterberg moved to Greece to play for Olympiacos. He continued to showcase his skills and contributed to the team's success in the Super League Greece.
Return to Anderlecht[edit | edit source]
Zetterberg returned to Anderlecht in 2003, where he played until his retirement in 2006. His second stint at the club was marked by further success, including additional league titles.
International Career[edit | edit source]
Zetterberg represented the Sweden national football team from 1993 to 1999. He earned 30 caps and scored 6 goals for his country. He was part of the squad that competed in the 1994 FIFA World Cup, where Sweden finished in third place.

Zetterberg was known for his vision, passing ability, and technical skills. He was often deployed as an attacking midfielder, where he could utilize his creativity to set up goals and control the tempo of the game.
