Padron
Padron is a municipality in the Province of A Coruña, in the autonomous community of Galicia, Spain. It is known for its rich history, cultural significance, and the production of the famous Padron peppers, a variety of peppers that are a staple in Spanish cuisine.

Padron was founded by the Romans in the 2nd century AD. It is believed to be the place where the Apostle St. James first landed in Spain. The town is named after the stone (pedrón) where, according to legend, the boat carrying the apostle was tied up.
