Palisade, Colorado is a statutory town located in Mesa County, in the United States. Known for its peach orchards, wine vineyards, and scenic beauty, Palisade is a popular destination for tourists and locals alike.

The town of Palisade was established in 1904, although the area had been settled much earlier due to its fertile soil and access to water. The name "Palisade" refers to the cliffs located to the north of the town.

Palisade is located in the Grand Valley, a major fruit-growing region of Colorado. The town is situated along the Colorado River, with the Book Cliffs to the north and the Grand Mesa to the south.

The economy of Palisade is largely based on agriculture, with peaches being the primary crop. The town is also known for its wine production, with several wineries and vineyards located in the area.
