Pan-genome

A pan-genome is the complete set of genes found in a particular group of organisms, which can include all the genes present in all individuals of a species as well as the unique genes found in specific individuals or subpopulations. The concept of the pan-genome contrasts with the traditional view of a single, fixed genome for a species.
