Paul Stewart is a former British racing driver who competed in various motorsport events during his career. He is best known for his involvement in Formula One racing as both a driver and a team owner.

Paul Stewart was born on January 29, 1965, in Scotland. He is the son of three-time Formula One World Champion Jackie Stewart.

Racing Career[edit | edit source]

Stewart began his racing career in the early 1980s, competing in various junior categories before moving up to Formula 3 and eventually Formula 3000. In 1997, he made his Formula One debut with the Stewart Grand Prix team, which was founded by his father Jackie Stewart.

During his time in Formula One, Paul Stewart achieved moderate success, scoring several points finishes and showing flashes of potential. However, his career was cut short due to a lack of funding and sponsorship.

After retiring from racing, Stewart transitioned into team management and co-owned the Stewart Grand Prix team with his father. The team later evolved into the Jaguar Formula One team.

Outside of racing, Paul Stewart is involved in various charitable endeavors, including the Race Against Dementia foundation, which he co-founded with his father to support research into finding a cure for dementia.
