Pennsylvania Route 113 (PA 113) is a state highway in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. The route runs from PA 611 in Souderton to PA 611 in Tinicum Township. PA 113 is a major north-south route in the Philadelphia metropolitan area, providing access to several suburban communities.

Route description[edit | edit source]

PA 113 begins at an intersection with PA 611 in Souderton, Montgomery County. From here, the route heads northeast through suburban areas, passing through the boroughs of Souderton and Telford. The highway continues into Bucks County, where it intersects with PA 309 in Hilltown Township.

Continuing northeast, PA 113 passes through the borough of Silverdale and the township of Bedminster Township. The route then intersects with PA 313 in Dublin. PA 113 continues through rural areas, passing through the townships of Plumstead Township and Tinicum Township, where it reaches its northern terminus at another intersection with PA 611.

PA 113 was established in 1928. The route has undergone several realignments and improvements over the years to accommodate increasing traffic and suburban development. Significant changes include the widening of the road in certain sections and the construction of bypasses around heavily congested areas.
