Peter Ostrum
Peter Ostrum is an American veterinarian and former child actor best known for his role as Charlie Bucket in the 1971 film Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory. Born on November 1, 1957, in Dallas, Texas, Ostrum's performance in Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory remains his only film role, after which he decided not to pursue a career in acting.

Peter Gardner Ostrum was born in Dallas, Texas, but grew up in Cleveland, Ohio. From a young age, Ostrum showed an interest in acting, participating in local children's theater productions.
