Pholosong Hospital is a general hospital located in Tsakane, Gauteng, South Africa. It serves a population of 900,000 from Tsakane, Kwa-Thema, and Duduza.

Construction of Pholosong Hospital was completed in 1992, and it began admitting patients in the same year. The hospital celebrated its 20th anniversary in March 2012.

Features and Capacity[edit | edit source]

Pholosong Hospital has 300 permanent beds and nearly 1000 medical staff. It admits approximately 20,000 patients annually and handles around 5000 live births per year. In 2010, the hospital treated 118,399 trauma patients. It offers services in pediatrics, obstetrics, gynecology, HIV and TB treatment, sexually transmitted infection (STI) treatment, and antenatal care.
