Pipotiazine

Pipotiazine (also known as Piportil) is a typical antipsychotic medication of the phenothiazine class. It is primarily used in the treatment of schizophrenia and other forms of psychosis.
Pharmacology[edit | edit source]
Pipotiazine works by blocking dopamine receptors in the brain. This helps to normalize the activity of the brain and reduce symptoms of psychosis. It is a long-acting medication, meaning its effects can last for several weeks after a single dose.

Pipotiazine is used to treat a variety of conditions, including:
