Pizza Capers was founded by Anthony Russo and Scott Geiszler in 1996. The first store was opened in Kenmore, Queensland. The founders aimed to provide a high-quality, value-for-money experience for pizza lovers. The company quickly gained popularity and began franchising in 2005.
In 2012, Pizza Capers was acquired by Retail Food Group, a global food and beverage company. Despite the change in ownership, Pizza Capers continues to maintain its commitment to quality ingredients and innovative pizza flavors.
