Planet Smoothie was founded by Martin Sprock in Atlanta, Georgia in 1995. The company quickly gained popularity due to its focus on health and wellness, offering a range of smoothies made with fresh fruit, protein, vitamins, and supplements. In 2011, Planet Smoothie was acquired by Tasti D-Lite, a frozen dessert chain, which helped to further expand the brand's reach.
