Ponnam Prabhakar is an Indian National Congress politician from the state of Telangana, India. He served as a Member of Parliament in the 15th Lok Sabha representing the Karimnagar constituency.

Ponnam Prabhakar was born on 8 May 1967 in Karimnagar, Telangana. He completed his education in Karimnagar and pursued a degree in Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).

Ponnam Prabhakar began his political career with the Indian National Congress (INC). He was elected to the 15th Lok Sabha in 2009 from the Karimnagar constituency. During his tenure, he was involved in various developmental projects and initiatives in his constituency.
