Ponnam Prabhakar
Ponnam Prabhakar is an Indian National Congress politician from the state of Telangana, India. He served as a Member of Parliament in the 15th Lok Sabha representing the Karimnagar constituency.
Early Life and Education[edit | edit source]
Ponnam Prabhakar was born on 8 May 1967 in Karimnagar, Telangana. He completed his education in Karimnagar and pursued a degree in Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).
Political Career[edit | edit source]
Ponnam Prabhakar began his political career with the Indian National Congress (INC). He was elected to the 15th Lok Sabha in 2009 from the Karimnagar constituency. During his tenure, he was involved in various developmental projects and initiatives in his constituency.
15th Lok Sabha[edit | edit source]
As a Member of Parliament in the 15th Lok Sabha, Ponnam Prabhakar was a part of several parliamentary committees. He actively participated in debates and discussions, focusing on issues related to his constituency and the state of Telangana.
Telangana Movement[edit | edit source]
Ponnam Prabhakar played a significant role in the Telangana movement, which aimed at the creation of a separate state of Telangana. He was a vocal supporter of the movement and worked towards achieving statehood for Telangana.
