Hyderabad
Hyderabad is the capital city of the Indian state of Telangana. It is known for its rich history, culture, and architecture representing its unique character as a meeting point for North and South India, and also its multilingual culture, both geographically and culturally.

Hyderabad was established by the Qutb Shahi dynasty in 1591 in South India. The city was ruled by the Qutb Shahi dynasty, Mughals, and the Nizams respectively. The city of Hyderabad served as the capital of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, the newly formed Indian states.
Geography[edit | edit source]
Hyderabad is located in the northern part of the Deccan Plateau, in Southern India, on the banks of the Musi River.

Hyderabad is a hub of culture and tradition. The city is a melting pot of North and South Indian cultures, and is known for its unique Hyderabadi culture which is evident in its language, literature, cuisine, and arts.

Hyderabad is the economic powerhouse of Telangana. The city is a major global center for information technology (IT), IT-enabled services (ITES), biotechnology and pharmaceuticals.

Hyderabad is home to many educational institutions and universities, including the University of Hyderabad, Osmania University, and the Indian School of Business.

Hyderabad has a well-developed healthcare sector with numerous hospitals and research centers, including the Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences and Apollo Hospitals.
Tourism[edit | edit source]
Hyderabad is known for its historic sites, including the Charminar, Golconda Fort, and the Qutb Shahi tombs. The city's rich history and culture attract tourists from all over the world.
