Pot marjoram
Pot Marjoram (Origanum onites), also known as Cretan Oregano or Greek Oregano, is a perennial herb belonging to the Lamiaceae family. It is native to the Mediterranean region, particularly Greece and Turkey.

Pot Marjoram is a bushy, woody-based perennial plant that grows up to 60 cm tall. The leaves are oval and hairy, with a strong aroma and spicy flavor. The flowers are pink or purple and bloom in the summer.
Cultivation[edit | edit source]
Pot Marjoram prefers well-drained soil and full sun. It is drought-tolerant and can be grown in poor soils. It is propagated by seed, cuttings, or division. The plant is harvested in the summer when the flowers start to open.
