Prophylactic

A prophylactic is any device or measure that is designed to prevent disease or injury. The term is often used to refer to condoms, which are used to prevent sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and pregnancy. However, it can also refer to other preventive measures, such as vaccines, antibiotics, and malaria tablets.
