QualitySolicitors
QualitySolicitors is a network of law firms in the United Kingdom and the first to be created in the legal profession in the UK. The network was formed with the aim of creating a national brand of solicitors. QualitySolicitors has over 100 branches nationwide and is considered one of the leading providers of legal services in the UK.
History[edit | edit source]
QualitySolicitors was established in 2008 by a group of law firms who wanted to create a recognizable brand in the legal profession. The network was formed in response to the Legal Services Act 2007, which allowed non-lawyers to invest in and own law firms for the first time. This change in legislation led to increased competition in the legal sector, and QualitySolicitors was created to help independent law firms compete with larger, more established firms.
Services[edit | edit source]
QualitySolicitors offers a wide range of legal services, including family law, personal injury, employment law, conveyancing, wills and probate, and commercial law. Each member firm of QualitySolicitors is required to adhere to a set of service standards, which includes providing clear and transparent pricing, free initial advice, and a same-day response to inquiries.
Partnerships[edit | edit source]
In 2011, QualitySolicitors formed a partnership with WHSmith, one of the UK's leading retail groups. This partnership allowed QualitySolicitors to have a presence in WHSmith stores across the country, providing legal advice to customers in a convenient and accessible location.
Criticisms[edit | edit source]
Despite its success, QualitySolicitors has faced criticism for its business model. Some critics argue that the network's focus on branding and marketing undermines the importance of personal relationships in the legal profession. Others have raised concerns about the quality of legal advice provided by the network's member firms.
