Quitman, GA
Quitman is a city located in the state of Georgia, United States. It is the county seat of Brooks County. The city is named after General John A. Quitman, a hero of the Mexican–American War. Quitman covers a total area of 4.1 square miles, all land, and is home to a population of approximately 3,850 residents.

- Quitman was incorporated as a city in 1859. The city has a rich history, with many historic homes and sites that date back to the 19th century. The Quitman Historic District is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
