Raise
From WikiMD's Food, Medicine & Wellnesspedia
- recovery after an initial schizophrenia episode (raise) is a large-scale research initiative that began with two studies examining different aspects of coordinated specialty care (csc) treatments for people who were experiencing first episode psychosis. one study focused on whether or not the treatment worked. the other project studied the best way for clinics to start using the treatment program. the goal of raise was, and is, to help decrease the likelihood of future episodes of psychosis, reduce long-term disability, and help people to get their lives back on track so they can pursue their goals.
