Reese's Peanut Butter Cups are an American candy consisting of a chocolate cup filled with peanut butter.

Reese's Peanut Butter Cups were created by H. B. Reese in 1928. Reese was a former dairy farmer and shipping foreman for Milton S. Hershey. He started his own candy business, the H.B. Reese Candy Company, in the basement of his home in Hershey, Pennsylvania. The peanut butter cups were his most popular product.

In 1963, the H.B. Reese Candy Company was sold to The Hershey Company in a merger. Since then, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups have become one of the best-selling candies in the United States.
