Robert Dyer Lyons
Robert Dyer Lyons (1826–1886) was an Irish physician and politician. He was a prominent figure in the medical field during the 19th century and also served as a Member of Parliament (MP) in the United Kingdom.

Robert Dyer Lyons was born in 1826 in Cork, Ireland. He pursued his medical education at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) and later at the University of Dublin, where he earned his medical degree.

He was particularly known for his work in pathology and was appointed as a professor of medicine at the Carmichael School of Medicine in Dublin.
