CIDADE ROLANDIA

Rolândia is a municipality located in the state of Paraná, in the Southern Region of Brazil. It is part of the metropolitan area of Londrina and has a population of approximately 67,000 inhabitants as of the latest census.

Rolândia was founded on January 29, 1943, by German immigrants. The name "Rolândia" is a tribute to the Germanic hero Roland, a symbol of freedom and justice. The city was initially developed as an agricultural colony, with coffee being the primary crop. Over the years, the economy diversified to include other agricultural products and industrial activities.
