Rosanna Davison


Rosanna Davison (born April 17, 1984) is an Irish model, actress, and author, best known for winning the Miss World 2003 pageant. She is the daughter of popular musician Chris de Burgh.

Early Life[edit | edit source]

Davison was born in Dublin, Ireland, to musician Chris de Burgh and his wife, Diane. She attended University College Dublin, where she studied sociology and art history.

Modelling[edit | edit source]

Davison began her modelling career in the early 2000s. In 2003, she won the Miss Ireland pageant, which led to her representing Ireland in the Miss World pageant later that year. She became the first Irish woman to win the Miss World title.

Acting[edit | edit source]

In addition to her modelling career, Davison has also pursued acting. She has appeared in a number of Irish and British television shows and films.

Writing[edit | edit source]

Davison is also a published author. She has written a number of books on nutrition and wellness, drawing on her own experiences with diet and health.

Personal Life[edit | edit source]

Davison is married to Wesley Quirke and they have one child together. She is a vocal advocate for animal rights and veganism, and has spoken publicly about her own vegan lifestyle.
