Russian National Research Medical University
Russian National Research Medical University (RNRMU), also known as Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University, is one of the oldest and most prestigious medical universities in Russia. It is located in Moscow and was established in 1906. The university is named after the famous Russian surgeon and anatomist Nikolay Pirogov.

The university was founded in 1906 as the Higher Medical Courses for Women, which was the first institution in Russia to offer higher medical education to women. In 1930, it was reorganized into the Second Moscow State Medical Institute. In 1956, it was named after Nikolay Pirogov, a prominent Russian surgeon. In 2010, it received the status of a National Research University.
