- Saline County is a county located in the U.S. state of Missouri. As of the 2010 census, the population was 23,370. Its county seat is Marshall. The county was established November 25, 1820, and named for the region's salt springs.
Geography[edit | edit source]
- Saline County comprises 756 square miles (1,960 km2) of total area, of which 753 square miles (1,950 km2) is land and 3.2 square miles (8.3 km2) (0.4%) is water. The county is located in the central part of Missouri, bordered by the Missouri River to the south.

- Fitzgibbon Hospital is a not-for-profit community hospital located in Marshall, Missouri. The hospital was founded in 1923 by Dr. Arthur Fitzgibbon and his wife, Mary. Today, it offers a wide range of healthcare services, including emergency care, surgical services, maternity care, and rehabilitation services. The hospital is accredited by the Joint Commission and is a member of the Missouri Hospital Association.

- The Living Center is a long-term care facility also located in Marshall. It provides a variety of services, including skilled nursing care, rehabilitation services, and assisted living. The facility is licensed by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services and is a member of the Missouri Health Care Association.
