Sam Hawgood
Sam Hawgood is an Australian-born pediatrician and academic administrator who has made significant contributions to the field of neonatology and medical education. He is best known for his role as the Chancellor of the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), a position he has held since 2014. Prior to his appointment as Chancellor, Hawgood served in various capacities at UCSF, including as the Dean of the School of Medicine and as a professor in the Department of Pediatrics.
