Scotch Whisky[edit | edit source]

Scotch whisky is a type of distilled alcoholic beverage made from malted barley. It is produced in Scotland and is known for its distinct flavor, which can vary greatly depending on the region in which it is produced. There are five main types of Scotch whisky: single malt, single grain, blended malt, blended grain, and blended Scotch whisky.

Scotch Tape[edit | edit source]

Scotch tape is a brand of adhesive tape that was first developed in the 1930s. It is widely used for a variety of purposes, including wrapping presents, sealing envelopes, and repairing torn paper. The term "Scotch" in the name is a reference to the tape's Scottish origins.

Scotch Egg[edit | edit source]

A Scotch egg is a traditional British snack consisting of a hard-boiled egg wrapped in sausage meat, coated in bread crumbs, and then deep-fried or baked. Despite its name, it is not clear whether Scotch eggs originated in Scotland.
