Selsø
Selsø is a historic manor house located in Hornsherred, near Skibby in Frederikssund Municipality, Denmark. The estate is situated by Selsø Lake and is known for its well-preserved Baroque architecture and historical significance.

The history of Selsø dates back to the Middle Ages, with the first recorded mention of the estate in the 13th century. The current manor house was constructed in the 16th century and underwent significant renovations in the 18th century, adopting the Baroque style that characterizes it today.

Throughout its history, Selsø has been owned by several prominent Danish families. In the 17th century, it was owned by the Rosenkrantz family, one of Denmark's most influential noble families. Later, it came into the possession of the Brockdorff family, who were responsible for many of the Baroque modifications.
