Denmark (Danish: Danmark), officially the Kingdom of Denmark (Danish: Kongeriget Danmark), is a Nordic country in Northern Europe. It is the southernmost of the Scandinavian countries, lying southwest of Sweden and south of Norway, and bordered to the south by Germany. Denmark consists of a peninsula and an archipelago of 443 named islands, with the largest being Zealand, Funen, and the North Jutlandic Island.
