Sergei Lvovich Tolstoy (Russian: Сергей Львович Толстой
- February 10, 1863 – December 23, 1947) was a Russian writer and diplomat. He was the son of the renowned author Leo Tolstoy and Sophia Tolstaya.

Sergei Tolstoy was born at Yasnaya Polyana, the family estate of the Tolstoy family. He was the second son of Leo Tolstoy and Sophia Tolstaya. Growing up in a large family, Sergei was influenced by his father's literary and philosophical works.
Career[edit | edit source]
Sergei pursued a career in diplomacy, serving in various capacities within the Russian Empire. He was also a writer, although his works did not achieve the same level of fame as those of his father. His writings often reflected the social and political issues of his time.
