Sno-Caps

From WikiMD's Wellness Encyclopedia

Sno-Caps[edit | edit source]

Sno-Caps are small pieces of chocolate that are covered with white nonpareils. They are produced by the Nestle company and are often found in movie theaters. The candy was introduced in the late 1920s by the Blumenthal Brothers Chocolate Company.

History[edit | edit source]

Sno-Caps were first introduced in the late 1920s by the Blumenthal Brothers Chocolate Company. The company was later acquired by Ward Foods, who then sold the brand to Nestle in the 1980s. Since then, Sno-Caps have been a popular candy choice in movie theaters across the United States.

Description[edit | edit source]

Sno-Caps are small, semi-flat, round pieces of chocolate that are covered in white nonpareils. The nonpareils give the candy a snowy appearance, hence the name "Sno-Caps". The chocolate used in Sno-Caps is dark chocolate, which gives the candy a slightly bitter taste that contrasts with the sweetness of the nonpareils.

Packaging[edit | edit source]

Sno-Caps are typically sold in a box that is dark blue and features an image of the candy on the front. The Nestle logo is also prominently displayed. The box is designed to be easy to open and close, making it convenient for movie-goers to enjoy the candy during a film.

Availability[edit | edit source]

While Sno-Caps are most commonly found in movie theaters, they can also be purchased in many grocery stores and online. They are sold in various sizes, from small boxes suitable for individual consumption to larger packages intended for sharing.
