Sophie Daumier (24 November 1934 – 31 January 2003) was a French actress and comedian known for her versatile performances in film, television, and theater.

Born on 24 November 1934 in Boulogne-Billancourt, France, Sophie Daumier showed an early interest in acting and comedy. She studied at the Conservatoire de Paris, honing her skills in theater and performance.

Career[edit | edit source]

Daumier's career took off in the 1960s when she began appearing in popular French films and television shows. She was known for her comedic timing and ability to portray a wide range of characters. Some of her notable works include Les Bonnes Causes (1963), La Guerre des Boutons (1962), and Les Copains (1965).

Sophie Daumier was married to French actor Jean-Paul Belmondo from 1966 to 1969. The couple had one daughter together.
