Souzan El-Eid

Souzan El-Eid is a medical doctor specializing in breast surgery and oncology. She is currently the Senior Director of the Breast Surgical Oncology Program at the Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Phoenix, Arizona.

El-Eid completed her medical degree at the American University of Beirut in Lebanon. She then completed her residency in General Surgery at the State University of New York at Buffalo. Following her residency, El-Eid completed a fellowship in Breast Surgical Oncology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.

Career[edit | edit source]

El-Eid has held several prestigious positions throughout her career. Prior to her current role, she was the Director of the Breast Care Center at Summerlin Hospital and the Medical Director of the Breast Care Center at the Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada.

El-Eid has contributed to numerous research studies and publications in the field of breast cancer. Her work has been published in several respected medical journals, and she has presented her research at various national and international conferences.

Awards and Recognition[edit | edit source]

Throughout her career, El-Eid has received several awards and recognitions for her contributions to the field of breast cancer research and treatment. These include the American Cancer Society's Lane Adams Quality of Life Award and the Susan G. Komen for the Cure's Co-Survivor Award.
