Soy tu dueña (English: A Woman of Steel) is a popular Mexican telenovela produced by Televisa and broadcast on the Canal de las Estrellas network. It originally aired from April 19, 2010, to November 7, 2010. The series is a remake of the telenovela La Dueña, which aired in 1995. Soy tu dueña stars Lucero as Valentina Villalba Rangel, a woman who goes from a life of luxury to facing the harsh realities of life on a ranch after being betrayed by her fiancé and her cousin. Alongside Lucero, Fernando Colunga plays José Miguel Montesinos, a man who becomes both her adversary and love interest. The show also features performances by Gabriela Spanic, David Zepeda, Sergio Goyri, and Ana Martin.

The story revolves around Valentina Villalba Rangel, who is destined to live a life of luxury and comfort in Mexico City, being the heiress to a vast fortune. Heartbroken and seeking solitude, Valentina decides to move to her family's rural estate, "Los Cascabeles," vowing never to fall in love again.

In "Los Cascabeles," Valentina becomes known as "La Dueña" (The Owner), asserting her authority and focusing on the welfare of the land and its workers. However, her resolve is tested when she meets José Miguel Montesinos, an honest and hardworking man who challenges her perceptions and slowly wins her heart. Their relationship is fraught with misunderstandings, family conflicts, and the machinations of Ivana, who, driven by jealousy and greed, seeks to ruin Valentina's life.
