- Springville is a city located in St. Clair County, Alabama, United States. It is part of the Birmingham–Hoover Metropolitan Area. The city was incorporated in 1880 and as of the 2010 census, the population of the city was 4,080.

- Springville is located at 33°46′37″N 86°28′25″W. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 6.4 square miles, all land.
History[edit | edit source]
- Springville was first settled in 1815, and later became an important location during the construction of the Georgia Pacific Railroad. Over time, it evolved from a farming community to a suburb of Birmingham.
