Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University (SVVU) is a state university located in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, India. It was established in 2005 by the Government of Andhra Pradesh with the aim of providing education, research, and extension services in the field of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry. The university is named after Lord Venkateswara, whose temple is located in Tirupati.

Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University was established to fulfill the educational needs in the field of veterinary science and animal husbandry in the state of Andhra Pradesh. It was created by bifurcating the existing faculties of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry from Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University, Andhra Pradesh.
