Steve Magie was born in Conway, Arkansas. He attended the University of Arkansas, where he earned his undergraduate degree. He then pursued a medical degree at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), graduating with honors. Following medical school, Magie completed his residency in ophthalmology, specializing in the treatment of eye diseases and surgery.

Dr. Magie has been a practicing ophthalmologist for several decades. He is known for his expertise in cataract surgery and the treatment of various eye conditions.
