Subskimmer is a unique type of amphibious vehicle designed and manufactured by Gibbs Technologies. The Subskimmer is capable of operating both on land and underwater, making it a versatile tool for a variety of applications.

Design and Functionality[edit | edit source]

The Subskimmer is designed with a fiberglass hull and a four-stroke engine that allows it to operate on land at speeds of up to 80 km/h. When transitioning to underwater operation, the wheels retract into the body of the vehicle and the engine switches to jet propulsion, allowing the Subskimmer to reach speeds of up to 3 knots underwater.

The vehicle is equipped with a scuba diving system that provides air to the occupants while underwater. The Subskimmer can operate at depths of up to 10 meters, making it suitable for shallow water exploration and research.
